The General Library of the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez campus, seeks an enthusiastic, innovative and technology-savvy librarian with strong teaching skills to join our Information Literacy Team. Reporting to the Information Literacy Coordinator, this tenure-track faculty position provides information services and research assistance for the University’s students and faculty as well as members of the general public, participates in a growing instructional program, consults and collaborates with scholars in specific academic units, and selects information resources to support the instructional and research needs of a diverse institution. The successful candidate must be bilingual in English & Spanish and have the qualifications to make a significant contribution to the library. Our library provides a broad array of services, collections and resources for a community of approximately 12,100 students and supports more than 90 academic programs.
